When paired with 3M liquid compounds, this pad helps refine P1200 and finer grade sand scratches in clear coat and paint repair processes. Featuring a convolute foam face, this compounding pad achieves improved finishes by conforming to curves and body lines, increasing surface contact and holding compound in place to reduce slinging. It helps refine scratches on hard, medium, and cured paint finishes. This compounding pad is easy to reuse and change with hook-and-loop attachments. Use with a compatible 3M backup pad for fast, clean, and easy attachment to and removal from rotary polishers.
